The Scarsdale Forum is honored to host noted Professor Akhil Reed Amar, Yale University Sterling Professor of Law and Political Science at our SUNDAY SPEAKER program. The program is co-sponsored by the Scarsdale Forum and the Yale Westchester Alumni Association. Forum members, Yale alumni, and the wider public are invited to attend in-person or on Zoom. 

Professor Amar is a leading scholar and teacher of the history and interpretation of the United States Constitution and Bill of Rights, the author of several books on these and related subjects, and has appeared frequently in the media. This special program will cover issues that resonate today and topics from his latest, fascinating book, The Words That Made Us: America's Constitutional Conversation, 1760-1840. We look forward with interest to this special program and Professor Amar's sequels to this volume.
