Fredric Paul Smoler is the Adda Bozeman Professor of International Relations at Sarah Lawrence College. A contributing editor to American Heritage Magazinefor nearly a decade, Smoler is a prolific writer. His interests are wide ranging and include such topics as foreign and military policy, immigration, multiculturalism and the lessons of economic history. A graduate of Scarsdale High School, Professor Smoler returns home to engage Scarsdale in a lively discussion.
