The Forum’s Education Committee, along with The Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) and the New York State Association of School Business Officials (NYSASBO), are proponents of school districts creating and implementing long-term financial plans. The Education Committee proposes the following resolution for Adoption by the Forum:
RESOLVED, that the Scarsdale School District should:
1.) Create and implement a five-year long-term financial plan that it updates annually,
2.) Create an ad hoc committee comprised of Scarsdale School administrators, educators, Board of Education members, and community residents who have a diversity of professional experience and expertise to collaborate with the Scarsdale School District on development of its long-term financial plan.
