WE RECOMMEND that the Scarsdale Union Free School District (the 223District224) administration and the Scarsdale Board of Education (223School Board224) take the following actions:
1. Scarsdale students continue to benefit from taking AP exams. Accordingly, AT students should be reminded about specific benefits they might be forgoing when students opt out of taking the exams.
2. The District should provide the community with readily accessible and annually updated information on various aspects of the AT program.
3. The Visiting Professor Program associated with the AT Program has been advantageous to all High School students. We support Board funding of this program in the proposed budget for 2011-12.
